Our 79-83 1st gen pickup bumper is available with a weld-in crossmember. Install will require trimming of the fenders to match the hoop line, and grinding the two small brackets on the front crossmember to allow the new weld-in piece to slide into place. The new crossmember not only allows you to bolt on our winch bumper, but also adds a TON of strength to the stock factory crossmember which is known to tear when wheeling.
Now the 79-83 pickups finally have a production winch bumper.
